James Bebawy, JD, MBA
James began working in the legal field as a paralegal in 2009. Before embarking on a career in the legal field, James graduated from The University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2005.
After working in the real estate development and property management industry as a project manager, and eventually as a property manager, James pursued his Master’s Degree in Business Administration. After receiving this degree in 2007, he remained engulfed in his industry.
James began law school with his wife in 2010. After completing his first year of law school, he worked with a personal injury and civil rights firm in the city of Chicago. During his second year of law school, James obtained a much sought after internship with a Federal Judge at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
After graduating law school, and passing the Bar Exam, James joined Merit Advocates Law Group, PC as a full time attorney. In 2015, James started Bebawy Law, PC.
James has been licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Illinois.
James remains involved in his community. He has received the Presidential Humanitarian Award from the Federal Government for his service in Tahtah, Egypt with Coptic Orphans, a not for profit charitable organization. In addition, James is a board member and youth counselor/advocate at his church in Burr Ridge, Illinois.
